Your hosts at Georgian Manor are Sid and Louise McFarlane.
Sid and Louise purchased this lovely historical 1888 Victorian-era home at an estate auction in 1999. A former guest house for skiiers in the 1950's, they worked for several years to restore it before the McFarlane's opened their home as a Bed & Breakfast in 2005.
Louise, well known for her beautiful gardens, has planted and nurtured this one-acre lot and it is now home to thousands of gorgious perennials in many beautiful flower beds -- a great spot for family or wedding photos.
While at Georgian Manor, you can also visit Far Lane Studios, where you will find Louise's pottery and daughter, Tara's, custom-made jewellery on display. You may even find one or two of Louise's mother's watercolours (by Rita VanderBeek) available when you visit. For more on Far Lane Studios, please click here.
